George Washington Crosses Delaware River
Washington Crossing, NJ: Reenactors portray General George Washington Crossing the Delaware River from PA to NJ upriver from Trenton. General Washington leaps from a Durham Boat to the Delaware River New Jersey riverbank. The Continental Army set up camp in Washington Crossing, NJ, where they mined materials used to support the Army, and had a fresh water supply.
The reenactment the Crossing of the Delaware is annually held on December 25 at 1 pm.
